When asked by a journalist “what is art”

Category : 2013, Interviews

Art is to open your fridge in order to drink a glass of water and a flock of colorful Guatemalan butterflies to flutter from inside, writing the word “good morning” on the opposite wall. Or put your hand in your coat pocket and pull out a little 13th century Chinese dragon furious that you woke him up, spewing fire and silver, cursing to burn your skin and then perching in your handful until he falls asleep. Or to place a red Madagascar’s shell in your ear and feel the breath of Aphrodite whispering to you sweet words from the bottom of the sea and the salty waves, while your body pulsates like the lyre of Apollo dripping honey and milk in purple, half open mouths of Olympus’ virgins.
